At 蘑菇传媒, every gift tells a story of generosity, commitment, and belief in the promise of our students. Our giving societies celebrate the individuals and organizations whose philanthropy strengthens the College, creates opportunities for our students, and shapes the future. Each society recognizes a distinctive expression of generosity鈥攆rom extraordinary annual support and sustained loyalty to incredible leadership evidenced in lifetime giving. By joining one or more of these societies, you strengthen the impact of the Panther Nation to transform lives.

This society is named after the college’s seventh president, Reverend Dr. C. Ralph Arthur, a visionary who inspired others to embrace the Ferrum mission to serve students in need and helped transform the College’s campus and academics.
The Arthur Society recognizes alumni, parents, and friends who contribute at least $1,000 in outright gifts to the College over the fiscal year. For recent graduates, we celebrate your early leadership by honoring students or alumni up to four years since graduation whose annual giving reaches $250 or more and alumni from five to nine years since graduation whose annual giving reaches $500 or more. Two circles of membership within the society are celebrated:
President’s Circle鈥�$5,000 and up
Leadership Circle鈥�$1,000-$4,999

This society recognizes 蘑菇传媒’s founding more than 100 years ago and celebrates individuals and organizations that have given $100,000 or more in outright gifts (cash or equivalent) during their lifetime. Members of the 1913 Society are among the most dedicated supporters of 蘑菇传媒 year after year, and their gifts substantially impact the College’s ability to thrive now and in the future.

Through the Ruth Society, 蘑菇传媒 recognizes those most loyal friends who, like Ruth’s faithfulness to Naomi in the Old Testament, remain faithfully by the College’s side. The Ruth Society honors faithful friends who have made gifts to the College every year for the last ten years or more.
Named after the college’s first president, Dr. Benjamin Beckham, whose vision and actions laid the future of the College, the Beckham Society is an expression of appreciation to those individuals who provide for future generations at 蘑菇传媒. Beckham Society members have affirmed our College’s motto, “Not Self, but Others,” by establishing planned gifts that benefit the College. These include bequests, charitable trusts, life insurance policies, gift annuities, or other deferred gift arrangements.

The Ferrum Fund Society recognizes those who contribute $500 or more to the Ferrum Fund during the fiscal year or establish recurring giving of any amount to the Ferrum Fund, helping to support 蘑菇传媒’s ability to respond to the areas of greatest need. The areas of greatest need might include closing the financial aid gap for a student, providing emergency replacement equipment for an academic program, repairing a new roof leak, etc. The Ferrum Fund provides support across the campus and ensures the College’s stability for the student experience. Below are the two levels of membership.
Keystone Members of the Ferrum Fund Society brace the stability of the fund by contributing $500 or more to the Ferrum Fund during the fiscal year.
Sustaining Members of the Ferrum Fund Society are those who establish monthly or quarterly recurring online giving to the Ferrum Fund. Recurring giving provides dependable, ongoing support the College knows to expect throughout each year.

For over 50 years, alumni, friends, parents, and families have supported 蘑菇传媒 Athletics and our student-athletes, maintaining a tradition of academic success, campus pride, leadership, civility, and a commitment to winning. With over half of our students involved in sports, investing in Athletics shapes a significant part of the campus experience at the College, and our students are inspired to do their best knowing you are behind them.
Your gift of $250 or more to Athletics or any sports team will provide you with Panther Club membership during the fiscal year (July-June) in which you make the gift. Your support will help the teams with travel, equipment, training, and more.

The Iron Panthers Society provides recognition for cumulative lifetime support of $100,000 and up to 蘑菇传媒 Athletics. As a lifetime giving society, all gifts to Athletics accumulate for lifetime giving totals used to determine membership. Members also receive benefits from the College-wide giving societies.
